A:Truth is, we need you.But we'd like to think that once you see what we have to offer, you'll agree that you need us too.SynthAssistSM has the expertise to:

1) create stunning three-dimensional content for your business

2) help you stay ahead of the curve and stand out in the crowd

3) put your company on the map—literally—in an immersive and interactive new way

A:We have nothing against other types of virtual tours. As a matter of fact, we are fans of that technology as well. However, we believe that such tours also have significant limitations. With the SynthAssistSMImmersive Photography process, we are able to provide a number of features or techniques that are virtually (pun intended) impossible with other types of tours, including:
1) Full resolution photography (e.g. 6 Megapixel to 10 Megapixel or even higher individual shots)!
2) Automatic multiple viewpoint layering, allowing fully user-defined walkthroughs of a space instead of just "spinning" around!
3) Mapping integrations including Bing® Maps fly-ins that empower clients to fly directly into your space!
4) Crossover experiences that provide both three-dimensional and two-dimensional reviews in the same interface!
5) Much more...once you see it, it's usually pretty easy to understand how different and incredible the technology is!

Q: What is a "synth"?
A: A synth is a collection of separate photographs that have been "synthesized" into a coherent three-dimensional space. Unlike more traditional three-dimensional technologies, "synths" are able to:
1) empower the user to explore at their own pace and direction
2) retain the full resolution of each original photograph
3) incorporate more than one angle and zoom level
4) enable virtually infinite zoom capability even over the web
When you see your first synth, it is almost impossible not to say "wow"! Eventually, we expect much of the world to incorporate this technology from Microsoft® into their web presence, but for now, we can help you be one of the first.

A:Geotagging is the process of adding x and y coordinates (latitude and longitude) to content so it can be located on a map. With a single photo or other piece of information, that's really all the information you have (picture the "pushpin" you have seen on Google® or Bing® Maps). We take it a step further by placing your content not just in the correct location on the map, but also with the correct size and directional orientation. This makes it possible to actually fly directly into your location in a way that has never before been possible.

Q: How quickly can you SynthAssize my property/business/product?
A: A basic project can often be done in a single day, and you can usually see your results within two business days. Of course, more complicated projects, custom deliverables, or additional consulting work will change this time frame, but we will always let you know up front how long we think your project will take. We understand the pace of business, and our goal is to get projects done on (or ahead of) schedule.
